# The Circle acts

This phase is where the Circle moves from visioning into **doing**: taking the trust, clarity and shared purpose developed so far and putting it into action within the wider community.

Circle Founders begin to lead activities, shape engagement, and build momentum for the care and support Circle to take root and grow.

## What happens during this phase?

### **🛠️ Key activities:**

* **Plan and co-design community workshops**
  * Using Equal Care’s materials and resources as a starting point
  * Adapting or creating new sessions based on what the Circle Founders feel passionately about
  * Co-producing all activities so they are authentic and relevant to the local community
* **Advertise the first community meetups and workshops**
  * Share news through personal networks, local organisations, and word of mouth
  * Place physical posters and flyers in **capital-neutral spaces** like supermarkets, libraries and GP surgeries
  * Co-design promotional materials with Equal Care’s support to ensure they reflect the Circle’s voice and values
* **Fundraise and build partnerships**
  * Begin identifying ways to bring additional resources into the Circle’s work, strengthening sustainability and reach
* **Develop role specialisation among Circle Founders**
  * Individuals start to take on specific “hats” (roles) to support different areas of the work
* **Build an online presence**
  * Use Equal Care’s community tools, social media channels, and platforms to begin telling the Circle’s story more widely
* **Reflect and learn**
  * Hold one-to-one reflection sessions with each Circle Founder to gather insights, feedback, and build a continuous learning loop
