Digital Inclusion
Within social care inequalities can often be traced back to the poor sharing of useful and timely information.
As the world moves increasingly online the lack of access to digital resources has a highly negative impact on both carers and those being cared for.
Organisations should, therefore, work towards as complete digital inclusion as they can, developing policies, procedures and strategies which ensure equitable access to and use of information and communication technologies for participation and decision-making for all members of the organisation.
The NHS guide to digital inclusion and social care can be found here.
